Although Mars is not a geologically active planet today, many interesting surface features were created when it was active in the past. In fact, the planet is home to some of the most dramatic landforms in the solar system. The largest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, is located on Mars, as well as one of the longest and deepest known canyon systems, Valles Marineris. Explore some amazing landmarks on the Martian surface!
